About Us

Rev. Jack E. Ealy, Sr.
In November of 1996, upon the 80th Anniversary of the Historic Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, the Past Chairwomen of the church’s annual Women’s Day established the Ealy Education Fund (EEF) as a tribute and honor to the Reverend Jack E. Ealy, Sr., his commitment to the youth, the community, and his passion for education.
On August 26, 2009, the EEF became a 501© 3 non-profit organization, no longer a private charity under the church but a public charity, independent of the church.
Since EEF’s inception, we have awarded more than $80k in scholarships and educational assistance to students in the Tri-County Area. EEF believes one of the keys to bettering an individual and a community is education.
We rely solely on fundraising efforts and charitable donations and invite you to join us in providing financial assistance to students pursuing higher education opportunities.
